ABOUT UNBRIDLED GRACE

I’m a mom of two under three, running two businesses and if there were a blue light that detected human poo, my house would be glowing.

So no—this isn’t coming from a mountaintop.  This is real life, real-time figuring it out.
Take what works. Leave what doesn’t.

Unbridled Grace is more than a website…

It’s a collection of things that have actually helped me—people, practices, tools—stuff I’ve used over 40+ years of trying to figure out how to feel good the majority of the time.

There’s always another layer. Another onion to peel.

I’ve done a lot of that—full tears, boogers, some seriously dramatic moments.  And honestly… I’m a little over learning everything through the lens of shame. So this chapter is about doing it differently.

Learning, but lighter.  Growing, but with more humor.

Can I learn by laughing my way into the lesson I need?  That’s what I’m working on.

Permission to Not Always Go Deep

If you have a family and you’re also trying to become more aware and do this kind of inner work—you have permission to not always be deep-diving.

When you have children, a partner, animals, a career, a job, parents, grandparents—people and responsibilities that rely on you.

You still have to show up and provide the care you provide. And sometimes that means stepping back. It’s okay to take a break.

It’s okay to not be “doing the work” all the time.

We can only multitask so much. And if we’re trying to do a hundred different things, we’re probably missing the moment right in front of us.

I know I’m guilty of it—of not being fully present, of getting a little self-indulgent in my own process, and missing the people right in front of me who rely on me.

Right now, having young children, this era of my life is really more about them than it is about me. But I’ve also had seasons where I could make it more about me—and that matters too.

Every stage of life asks something different of us.

HONESTY

Why I Created This

I wanted a place for efficiency—a place where all the resources, tools, and practices that have supported me live in one spot.

So you don’t have to go digging through notes, saved posts, or old tabs.

You can come here, return to it, and take what you need when you need it.

I’ll keep adding to it as I can, when I can—because if I’m being honest, I’m still juggling a lot.

I’m learning, in real time, how to take better care of myself, how to be kinder to myself, and how to allow things to be a little more spacious.

That’s the intention behind all of this.

Something you can come back to—without pressure, without perfection—just support when you need it.

Lots of love,
Alexis
